Stay organised! I use Google Calendar and I take time every weekend to sit down and fill everything in for the following week. I schedule in lectures and rooms and during particularly busy times I include study/reading/assignment writing times.
At the beginning of the semester I also look through all the handbooks for the hand in dates for assignments and schedule them in with reminders two weeks before the due date. Yes, it sounds a bit dorky, but it has kept me afloat this year!
